Animal Hunter / Pest Control Officer

The Town of Tisdale has appointed/contracted Don Falkner as the Animal Hunter under Bylaw 3-09 the Hunting Bylaw. This Bylaw provides authorization for the Animal Hunter/Pest Control Officer to shoot crows, magpies, cowbirds, blackbirds, grackles, starlings, English sparrows, common pigeons, skunks, raccoons, mice and rats, beavers, and other nuisance animals with or without the consent of the property owner on which the nuisance animal was found. 

Furthermore, the Town of Tisdale appointed Kurt Johnson as a Volunteer Animal Hunter who was authorized to do the same at the following locations: 

 

• Tisdale Riverside Golf Course
• Kinsmen MacKay Park
• Along the Doghide River
