Mayor Mike Hill
Michael Hill also known as Mike was born and raised in Tisdale. After completing postsecondary studies in Business – Marketing, he returned to his hometown, where he and his wife Christine have chosen to raise their family.
Mike currently serves as the Office Manager at Chupa Trucking and brings with him over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. His professional background is complemented by a strong commitment to community service.
In addition to serving on Town Council for the past eight years, Mike is an active member of several community organizations. He sits on the board of New Sask Community Futures and is involved with the Tisdale Lions Club, Tisdale Snowmobile Club, and the Tisdale Masonic Lodge. His past contributions include over a decade of coaching minor hockey and baseball, as well as previous leadership roles with the Kinsmen Club—where he served as both a member and past president—and involvement with the local Justice Committee.
Throughout his time on Council, Mike is proud of the work accomplished to support responsible financial management, including efforts to minimize taxation. He has also played a key role in the completion of major infrastructure projects such as the new sewage treatment plant, lagoon expansion, and upgrades to the Regional Landfill. He has championed enhancements to recreational amenities for all ages, including the addition of a dog park, skate park, walking trails, and the introduction of various community programs like cooking classes, yoga sessions, and walking groups. Mike remains dedicated to making Tisdale a vibrant and inclusive place for all residents.
Mayor Hill was elected during the 2025 By-election held on November 12, 2025.
