Request for Tender: Handi-Bus Services

The Town of Tisdale is looking for a qualified individual or business to operate the Town-owned Handi-Bus on a contract basis, starting January 1, 2027.

The Handi-Bus provides safe, accessible, and affordable rides to seniors, residents with mobility challenges, and residents of local care facilities. If you are a dependable driver who enjoys helping people in our community, we would like to hear from you!

What the job involves:
✅ Running the bus Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
✅ Taking bookings, scheduling trips and helping passengers board
✅ Collecting fares and keeping trip records
✅ Routine vehicle care. The Town owns, insures and fuels the bus.

What you will need:
✅ A valid Saskatchewan driver’s licence of the class SGI requires, plus a current driver abstract
✅ A Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check
✅ At least one qualified relief driver

The contract runs for three years (2027–2029), with an option to extend.

Sealed tenders must be marked “Tender TT-2026-HB-01 – Handi-Bus Services” and delivered to the CAO at the Town Office. Late tenders will not be accepted.
