Tisdale has a range of healthcare services, primarily through Tisdale Hospital, a 24-bed facility with attached long-term care. The hospital provides 24/7 medical services, including an emergency room, dialysis unit, chemotherapy outreach, and lab and diagnostic imaging services. It is also supported by allied professionals like mental health and addictions, medical social workers, and a therapies department. Additionally, the community has access to services like the Tisdale Community Health Centre, which offers programs such as diabetic education, chronic disease management, and home care.
Tisdale is also the home of the Northeast Healthplex, a state-of-the-art facility purposely built to provide a wide range of health services to the Northeast region. The Healthplex houses a medical clinic, dental clinic, eye clinic, denturist, and chiropractor. The facility also houses the Kelsey Trail Health Region Community Health Clinic. The Healthplex is connected to the Tisdale Hospital and Newmarket Place long-term care facility making it easy and convenient to receive extended health services such as testing, treatments and acute services.
