Groups Fundraising Opportunity – Spring Cleanup Program
The Town of Tisdale is inviting local community groups, non-profit organizations, and service clubs to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the 2026 and 2027 Spring Cleanup Program as a fundraising opportunity.
This initiative provides groups with the opportunity to support community beautification efforts while raising funds for their organization.
Program Overview
The Spring Cleanup is scheduled to be completed by May 24, 2026, weather permitting. The Town of Tisdale will supply garbage bags and coordinate waste collection.
Participating groups will be responsible for cleaning assigned areas within the community.
Designated Cleanup Areas
Groups may be assigned one or more of the following locations:
- Heritage Road – from the Waste Disposal Site to Northern Steel Road
- Highway #3 West – from the Tisdale turn-out sign to the East Tisdale turn-out sign (including the north side between Fairburn Tire and the junction of Highways #3 and #35)
- Junction of Highway #3 and #35 – four-way stop south to the Tisdale turn-out sign
- Highway #35 North – from 112th Avenue to the Tisdale turn-out sign
- North lane behind Golburn Crescent to Main Street
- Along the CN tracks – from 101st Street to Heritage Road
- Open lot across from Northern Steel on Heritage Road
- Lane behind 107th Avenue – from 110th Avenue to TES
- 100A Street – from 112th Avenue north to Northern Steel Road
- Northern Steel Road – from 100A Street to Heritage Road
Group Responsibilities
Participating groups will:
- Provide volunteers to complete the cleanup of assigned areas
- Ensure the safety of participants during the cleanup
- Complete cleanup within the designated timeline
- Coordinate with Town staff as required
Town Responsibilities
The Town of Tisdale will:
- Provide garbage bags
- Coordinate collection and disposal of waste
- Assign cleanup areas
- Provide general guidance and support
Funding Opportunity
Participating groups will receive a financial contribution from the Town in recognition of their efforts. Funding amounts may be based on the size and scope of the assigned area.
Submission Details
Interested groups are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest, including:
- Organization name
- Contact person and contact information
- Number of volunteers available
- Preferred cleanup area(s) (if any)
- Brief description of the group

EOIs must be submitted by: April 3, 2026
