Seasonal Employment – Recreation and Parks Department
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Town of Tisdale Recreation and Parks Department is accepting applications for a Seasonal Parks and Recreations Worker to join our team for the 2026 season.
Position Responsibilities:
· Report directly to the Foreman and the Director of Recreation & Parks.
· Maintenance and upkeep of parks, green spaces, trails, cemetery grounds, and recreational facilities
· Operation and basic maintenance of department equipment and machinery
· Lawn care, landscaping, and groundskeeping duties
· Assisting with set-up and tear-down of recreational events and facilities
· Ensuring public spaces are safe, clean, and well-maintained
· Work collaboratively with all staff to meet operational goals
· Perform additional duties and provide additional support as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications/skills include:
It is expected that ALL applicants will include copies of all current certifications and awards when they apply.
· Valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract
· Possess and demonstrate sound mechanical knowledge in various types of equipment
· Responsible, self-motivated, team-oriented
· Ability to work independently
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
Additional Information:
· Job Status – Seasonal Temporary Full-Time commencing as soon as possible and ending October 2, 2026-
Applicant(s) may be considered for future full time positions
· Wage Range – $20.00/hr. (benefits as per Collective Agreement with CUPE Local 777-02)

· Working hours primarily: Monday- Friday 7:00 am- 4:00 pm
