The Town of Tisdale is Northeast Saskatchewan’s agricultural centre of trade and commerce. Located in the heart of the region, Tisdale is a full service community with all the amenities of a larger centre but with the atmosphere and charm of a small town.
Due to Tisdale’s centralized location, the community has become a meeting place in the region. Shopping, business and government services, education, sporting events, markets and concerts attract people from all over the Northeast region and beyond. Tisdale is unique in Canada’s agricultural mosaic.
The community is surrounded by 6 of the world’s most recognized grain and seed operators and has some of Canada’s most fertile land which produces a variety of abundant crops. The agricultural sector is well supported by home-grown businesses which supply the industry with local products and services.
Adding to the Town’s strengths, Tisdale has access to major trade corridors by both modern highways and 2 of Canada’s national rail lines converging in the community.
