Emergency Measures
The Mutual Aid Area of Tisdale & District E.M.O is a department whose responsibility it is to develop and co-ordinate the area’s program for disaster. It is essentially a planning department, not an operational department, with vast emergency resources of equipment, supplies and manpower.
EMO’s planning is to consider both the threats of peacetime disaster (conflagrations, explosions, tornadoes, blizzards, epidemics, transportation, and search and rescue) and the hardships which a national disaster might impose on our area (reception of evacuees from other areas, nuclear fallout, etc.).
